Why not just buy the hardware and run this ourselves?
You could. The ops complexity that comes with it — Spanish import compliance, payment pre-auth for the keep-it tier, bilingual on-site support, deployment logistics, sponsor sales, refunds, bank reconciliation — is what most organizers ask us to handle for them, in exchange for a share of the revenue.

Our on-site team operates in español and english. WhatsApp support runs in both languages throughout the event.
Are the batteries Apple-certified?
Our stations and banks are CE-certified, UN38.3-compliant for transport, and RII-AEE registered in Spain — the certifications festival operations and insurance teams actually need. Apple's MFi program is a separate consumer-electronics standard; we're on the roadmap to add MFi-spec cells for Tier-1 deployments.
